Welcome to Troubadour Magazine! Troubadour is a music publication entirely run by New York University students. NYU is an incredibly musical school with very strong musical communities. Up until now, though, music at NYU has been sparsely covered by student news publications. Our aim is to provide a place where NYU’s musical communities can be organized and represented. The goal is to connect the broad musical groups within NYU and to help the community grow. Troubadour also takes advantage of our location by covering non-NYU music throughout New York City. We combine this New York based music journalism with our own original takes on popular music. We hope that our readers find interesting articles on artists they know, while becoming more familiar with NYU music.
